Hey, I’m B Mack! Radio Personality by day, and DJ / MC by night! One thing that was always certain from a young age was that I knew I wanted to base my life around music. I wasn’t sure exactly which path to take early on, but I leapt forward, never looked back and have been going strong ever since. I strive for excellence year after year and put 100% into everything I do. Although my main priority is as radio personality on 99.9 Virgin Radio Kelowna, djying & emceeing has been and will always be my biggest passion!
To tell you a bit more about myself, I’m a seasoned professional DJ & MC with experience throughout Western Canada in all areas, and I specialize in weddings. I am currently a Morning Show personality, half of Virgin Radio Mornings with B Mack & Karly. I have been a professional DJ/MC for over 20 years and I LOVE what I do. In my field of expertise, I truly understand how crucial it is to perform to perfection, and that there is no margin for error.
While securing my professional wedding DJ services, I generally encourage a casual meet if possible so we get a chance to know each other and a greater sense of what the entire day will bring for you, your family and your best friends. I am here to create, customize and enhance your dream vision. I have been a professional DJ/MC for over 20 years and I LOVE what I do. I use only the best quality in professional equipment, so nothing can theoretically go wrong. You are not paying for an inexperienced, unlicensed playlist DJ with limited ability to get the crowd going and mix appropriate music accordingly. From now until you are happily married I personally attend to every detail. I personally attend to every detail! Towards the ceremony, I set up and play all PA sound, including pre ceremony music, ceremony music, signing of documents, recessional music and more. I can also provide outdoor power and a tent for any weather conditions, if needed. I go the extra distance with a professional quality wireless lapel mic, used for the Marriage Commissioner (if needed) so your guests can enjoy the atmosphere and soundtrack to your ceremony without taking away from memorable photo opportunities. There are no mic cables, nothing for them to hold, and most importantly, no tacky microphones in your beautiful wedding photos.
I only use top grade high-end professional PA gear, along with LED dancefloor lighting. You receive audio options if operating a projector slide show, and can add on an entire projector set up if needed. I provide a wireless hand-held microphone, a wireless lapel mic, wired mics, a mic stand, sound monitoring of speeches, complete cocktail & dinner music, on top of a dance set that is of the highest quality of DJ professionalism in Western Canada. You will not only get a professional speaker/MC who can host games and entertain your guests if needed, but you also guarantee an thoroughly experienced nite club DJ, wrapped up into a seasoned veteran wedding DJ.
My music knowledge is of the utmost in quality and experience. A self-described musicologist, I excel at all genres of music, from country to classic rock, hip hop & EDM, to top 40 & party tunes, and I will customize your playlist to YOUR liking. For instance, I have djyed weddings for many different nationalities, including Mexican, English (UK), Australian, New Zealand, French, Scottish, Irish, Norwegian, Dutch, Italian, Greek, German, Polish, Ukrainian, Iranian, Chinese, Filipino, El Salvadorian, etc. I can also play all styles of Latin music, including salsa and tango, Jewish Music and even country line dancing! You name it and I’ve most likely got it, from the roarin’ 20s to what was released last Tuesday. There is rarely a genre I have zero experience with, as I’ve been perfecting the song selections used for over 2 decades. Also, as a professional speaker, rest assured I would step up the plate if needed to help host and guide your MC, when it comes to speeches and other proceedings. And as a bonus offer rare in the industry, you may also include a complete music compilation of your entire day, from the very first song to the very last song played during the entire wedding, to keep for the rest of your lives as your own personal collection of music.
I have the ability to provide over 75,000 songs at hand, and take any requests with the click of a button. I encourage requests from your guests (as long as you allow it), as I can interact and get to know them a little, and potentially include them as I perform for you. I use a professional soundboard mixer so you have the option to include extra sound, such as a projector slide show, or a live musician, if sound is needed. And as I have been a professional speaker for over a decade, I can provide any additional hosting duties. For example, games to play towards dinner tables being served in a specific order & special requests (The Hunger Games – buffet table order, The Shoe Game & more).
